Terms and Conditions (Orders)
About These Terms
These are our Terms and Conditions and you should read them carefully as they apply to any orders made online, over the phone or by mail (retail customers only). We may request you to accept these Terms and Conditions during online registration and/or the order process.
- You will be bound by the details of the Terms and Conditions and the information which was in place at the time when you place your order.
- Solar Xpress reserves the right change these Terms and Conditions at any time. It is your responsibility to check our website regularly to determine if the Terms and Conditions have been changed.
- We will not be held liable for any loss of goodwill, any economic losses or any special or indirect losses suffered or incurred by that party arising out of or in connection with the Terms and Conditions.
- If you do not comply with these conditions of sale and we take no action in respect of that non-compliance, our right to take action in the same or a similar situation in the future will not be affected.
We reserve the right to refuse to accept your order if we find that you are in breach of these Terms and Conditions.
Legal Capacity to Transact
- If you are under the age eighteen (18) years you cannot place orders with Solar Xpress.
- By accepting these Terms and Conditions you acknowledge that you are over the age of eighteen (18) years.
- Should Solar Xpress suffer any damage or other losses as a result of a transaction entered into by a minor, Solar Xpress reserves the right to seek compensation for such losses from the parents or guardians of the minor who caused any order(s) to be placed with Solar Xpress.
Prices
- Physical product prices are given in Australian dollars.
- All orders are payable in Australian dollars.
- All online prices are correct at the time of publication and may change without prior notice.
- All prices quoted include GST.
- Any specials advertised on this site apply to products bought in our showroom and not online (unless otherwise stated).
Orders
- Your order will be dispatched on receipt of payment.
- If you place an order on the weekend or on a public holiday, it will be processed on the next business day.
- We may refuse or not accept any order without giving reasons, at any time. Any money already received will be refunded.
- By placing an order, you make an offer to us to purchase the products you have selected based on these Terms and Conditions.
Payment
- Payment is accepted through bank deposit, credit card and PayPal. We accept Visa and Mastercard.
Availability
- Should a product be unavailable after you have placed your order, we will let you know as soon as possible by phone, email or by post.
Overseas Orders
- We can only accept orders to be delivered within Australia.
- Any overseas orders will be refunded.
Delivery (Postage/Freight/Shipping)
For all orders, you will be charged a delivery cost based on the total weight of goods sold in your order and not the delivery cost of the weight of a single item.
Examples
- If you buy one item that has a weight of 1kg, then you will be charged the delivery cost for a total of 1kg.
- If you buy one item that is 1kg and another item that is 3kg, then you will be charged the delivery cost for a total weight of 4kg.
There may be some variations in the delivery cost of the total weight of goods sold when you order online compared to phone and mail orders.
For any online orders that have a total weight over 20kg, you will have to contact us by phone during business hours to determine the delivery cost.
If you make a phone order and state the delivery cost for a single item on the website, you will still be charged for the total weight of goods sold.
Some items are not able to be sent by freight or by mail. These goods are available as pick up only from our store. If an item is pick up only it will be indicated in the product description.
Please allow up to 14 working days for delivery within Australia.
